At Health Box, we believe that pharmacists, not corporations, shape the future of patient care. We’re taking back our profession, one pharmacy at a time, with a group of pharmacists who are respected leaders and clinicians in each of their respective communities.
Health Box believes in making personal medicine easy and accessible. That’s why our services are available in-person and virtually. You can even renew prescriptions you obtained somewhere else with us.
Health Box initially will be part of select communities in Alberta, innovating ways in accessing health care, but will continue to grow by living to its purpose.
Our Story
Founded in 2010, Mint pharmacies are community-first, owned by independent pharmacists in communities all across Alberta. Our dedicated team of owners, pharmacists and support staff are passionate about providing patient care that directly improves the personal health of everyone in their local and broader community.
Health Box’s philosophy is simple: your health, your clinic.
Not only are our pharmacies owned and run independently by pharmacists but every pharmacist at Mint Health + Drugs, and by extension, Health Box, is licensed and certified by the Additional Prescribing Authority (APA). Our APA pharmacists can prescribe personalized medications, saving you time so you don’t have to go and visit your doctor again.
